in December of 1905.
She was the first child for her father
Lee Leander Moses Little,
and the second child for her mother

Later, the family moved north to the Glencoe, Oklahoma area.
Clemmie was 20 years old and living in Glencoe when she met and married
Guy Everett Barclay on September 20, 1925 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
They settled in Tryon, where Clemmie helped raise Guy's two children from his previous marriage,
and where they had 5 more children together -- 7 children altogether!

During WWII, Guy commuted to Oklahoma City where he worked for McDonnell-Douglas. After the war, several
of their children moved from Oklahoma to California, so in 1951, Guy and Clemmie moved to Visalia, California

By 1965, Guy's health began to fail, so Clemmie retired, and cared for him at their home
until he passed away in 1975.
Afterward, Clemmie bought a home in a newer section of Visalia, very close to the home of her sister and brother-in-law,
Roy & Estelle Rice. She spent the next 20 years on her own, tending to her home and garden, active at her church,
walking with friends and family each day, and traveling often to visit her children and grandchildren all over the US.
She was greatly loved by everyone who knew her.
In 1995, Clemmie Lee passed away after having suffered a devestating stroke.
She is buried at the Visalia Cemetery in Visalia, California next to her husband
